Sesame Street

Bob McGrath

In 1970, my mom took me to a personal appearance that Bob McGrath ("Bob" from Sesame Street) made at Stewart's department store in Baltimore. I panicked and hid behind her legs. I finally met Bob at DragonCon 2018, where I did not panic, and he signed my original copy of the Sesame Street soundtrack album. He is also a fellow University of Michigan alum.

Cary Elwes

I met Cary Elwes on 7/15/18 at Atlanta Comic-Con, where I was presenting later that day. A little known fact about Cary Elwes is that before he started acting, he was a PA on "Superman the Movie", where his job was to assist Marlon Brando, who played Jor-El in the film. I had him sign my one-sheet from that movie (he said it was the first time anyone has had him sign anything from "Superman"). In his inscription, he says that Marlon Brando called him "Rocky" throughout the production.
